PVC-u Casement Windows

In order to cater for the diverse mix of property styles, our PVC-u windows are available in a wide variety of styles and finishes, so you are sure to find a design to suit any property.

A&B Glass manufactures both standard PVC-u casement windows and also flush PVC-u casement windows, where the opening sash sits flush within the outer frame. Both are manufactured using Eurocell PVC-u profile.

The most widely used window style, our standard windows are available in a variety of opening styles, using a combination of fixed and opening sashes and with a bevelled (chamfered) or ovolo (sculptured) frame.

Opening sashes can be side or top hung and arranged in a configuration to suit the property.

Whether bevelled or ovolo frame, numerous colour options are available including White, Black, Anthracite Grey and shades in between and with both smooth and woodgrain textured options .

Also available in numerous finishes, our Modus flush casement windows are a striking alternative, with the flush sash providing contemporary clean lines.

Similarly, there is no reason to compromise in regards to bow/bay windows. Using our versatile bay posts, any combination of windows can be assembled to achieve the correct angles.

PVC-u Vertical Sliding Windows

For properties that demand a more period style window, we offer PVC-u Vertical Sliding Sash Windows. As the name suggests, rather than side or top hung with hinges like the casement alternative, these window sashes slide open vertically and provide a townhouse style appearance.

Packed with elegant period features, our PVC-u vertical sliding windows provide a blend of tradition and performance. Aesthetically, they are difficult to distinguish from their timber counterparts whilst at the same time offering all the low maintenance benefits that are associated with modern day PVC-u products.

Tilt-and-turn Windows

Tilt-and-turn PVC-U windows are ideal for developments where the unique inward-opening sash enables easy, safe cleaning from within the building, as well as providing high levels of ventilation.

In contrast to standard casement windows, Tit-and-turn windows always open inwards and uniquely allow two handle operated functions. The window can be tilted inwards (bottom hinged) or opened inwards (side hinged).

AOV’s (Automatic Opening Vents)

Multiple occupancy buildings above three stories must have automated environmental and smoke ventilation capabilities to comply with the strict fire safety rules in part B of Building Regulations 2010.

Working with our partners, A&B Glass has developed a window frame solution that automatically opens to expel smoke in the event of a fire. The system works by connecting an actuator to the window’s frame so that the window opens in the presence of smoke. This helps to prevent smoke build-up and allows the façade to be used as a central part of the building’s smoke ventilation strategy.

Our collaboration with partners enable us to find a window solution that combines the right actuator with the right frame, providing a fit-for-purpose automated smoke ventilation system that seamlessly blends in with the other windows in the project.

Entrance Doors, French Doors, Bi-fold and Sliding Patio Doors

PVC-u and GRP Entrance/Utility Doors, Sliding Patio Doors, French Doors and Bi-folding Doors, all fully accredited with multipoint locking and conforming to the latest British Standards. In addition to PVC-u Bi-fold Doors, we also supply and install Aluminium Bi-fold Doors.
