Asset Fineline were proud to undertake works on the Norwich riverside development. A landmark series of buildings situated on the site of the old Boulton and Paul factory, originally developed by Wilcon between 2001-2004.

The maintenance of these buildings is managed by Norwich Residential Management (NRM). NRM consulted with Asset Fineline at an early stage to help compile a cost benefit study. The study compared the previous methodology of repainting the original timber frames against their replacement in PVCu.
All the maintenance benefits were considered including the avoidance of scaffold requirements every 5 years for painting and maintenance of the original timber frames.
Consultations with owners and leaseholders resulted in agreement that funds would be made available over time to complete the whole 5 blocks comprising of 188
units. White and brown woodgrain frames replicate the look and feel of the original timber windows with inward opening French doors onto Juliet balconies to complete the rejuvenation of the external façade.

Over 1200 frames completed the whole installation undertaken over 9 months.
Guy Hudson (MD of NRM) said “working with Asset Fineline was a pleasure from tendering and planning stages to their in-house manufacturing and installation teams. We received positive feedback from leaseholders and residents regarding quality of units and processes of installation. We will certainly use Asset Fineline again on large scale upgrade projects”.
