Asset Fineline were invited to participate in the refurbishment of a number of properties on behalf of Gt Yarmouth BC through their framework arrangement with GYN and Eastern Procurement.
Properties were scattered throughout the borough and required an approach to coordinate and manage the survey and installation process at the height of the Covid 19 pandemic with all the controls and safety protocols that entailed.
A specific control document created by the business to track individual property progress was used to denote those requiring special attention who were either shielding or self-isolating so that client, contractor and Asset Fineline staff managed the process in an informed and proactive manner, reducing risk of exposure to infection throughout for staff and residents.
Communication
Asset Fineline contract tracker system was used to ensure that the client was fully informed of progress for each address in the programme through its journey from survey appointment, costing confirmation and technical evaluation through to manufacture, installation appointment and sign off with resident satisfaction completion.
This approach ensures that at every stage, the client knows for every address on the scheme at what status the property address is, at any stage of the contract.
EWI scheme
In addition to stand alone window and door replacement properties, the client added a number of properties where additional works including new external wall insulation and roof repairs were to be undertaken. This required extra coordination with the trades involved in providing those services along with the scaffolding contractors to ensure works are carried out in the correct order and complementary to each other.

All programmes undertaken under the EPL framework require defined service levels to be achieved relating to key criteria and submitted on a monthly basis, including…
